GM’s LS series engines are making their way onto the nation’s circle tracks. Chevrolet Performance even makes a crate engine—the CT525—just for roundy-round racing.
If you’re going the LS path, you’ll need a way to control eight ignition coils, RPM, and timing. MSD Circle Track LS Ignition Control is the solution. It has connectors that plug directly into the LS cam sensor, crank sensor, and coils. The controller has a preset timing curve and rev limiter for the CT525 crate engine. If your class doesn’t require a crate engine, you can program your timing curve and rev limiter via a laptop with MSD’s View software.
The MSD Circle Track LS Ignition Control is compatible with 24x/1x, 58x/1x, and 58x/4x crank and cam sensor combinations and has a USB port to connect directly to a laptop. It also has a dedicated plug for the MSD Tech Official Tech Tool to check timing curves on the CT525 crate motors.
