ST. LOUIS—In its third year, the Street Car Super Nationals III: Anarchy at the Arch returns to Gateway Motorsports Park, providing area fans the opportunity to see the wildest racing of the summer. Under the lights Aug. 25-27, the Premier Street Car Association’s top drivers along with the biggest names in the region will put on a record-shattering show. Both of last year’s Pro Mod champions—Frankie “Madman” Taylor (Outlaw Pro Mod) and Kevin Fiscus (Pro Nitrous vs. Pro Boost)—are defending their titles this year with every expectation that ET and speed records are going to fall.
“We’ve set a standard for our events over the years,” said PSCA President Mel Roth. “In three short years, we’ve shown that a combination of fearless drivers and one of the best-prepped tracks in the country produces a one-of-a-kind race. There’s no reason for us to think that’s going to change next weekend.”In what is expected to be the biggest heads-up field in the event’s history, eight classes will fight for a huge payout:
FLYING A MOTORSPORTS OUTLAW PRO MOD Presented by Larry Jeffers Race Cars ($10,000 to win)
PRECISION TURBO PRO NITROUS VS PRO BOOST ($7,500 to win)
MORROW BROTHERS FORD RADIAL VS WORLD ($7,500 to win)
MICKEY THOMPSON TIRES 275 RADIAL/X275 ($5,000 to win)
FUEL TECH LIMITED DRAG RADIAL PRESENTED BY REDLINE MOTORSPORTS ($4,000 to win)
MMR Outlaw 8.5/MX235 ($4,000 to win)
MAGNAFUEL 7.0 INDEX ($1,500 to win)
CALVERT RACING 6.0 INDEX ($1,500 to win)
