New Summit Racing Specialty Tools and Shop Equipment Now Available

It never fails. You’re getting ready to do—or are in the middle of—a job and you find out you need that one tool. We’d have to take off our shoes to count how many times this has happened to us.

We decided to help alleviate that problem by stocking tools and shop equipment for those special jobs or garage tasks. You can have them in hand when you’re ready to work—or at least know where you can get them quickly.

Here are three examples of the specialty tools Summit Racing offers:

Ratcheting Wheel Dollies

Wheel dollies are quite useful for moving a vehicle around the shop. These Summit Racing Ratcheting Wheel Dollies make the task even easier. Made from heavy-duty steel, the dollies have a pedal-operated ratcheting system for hands-free lifting. That’s something you’ll appreciate if you’ve used other dollies. Sturdy composite rollers cradle vehicle tires up to 10 inches wide, and locking outer casters keep the dolly stationary. Each dolly can support up to 1,250 pounds. Available individually or in a set of four with a caddy.

Wire Sleeve Installation Tool

Wire looms and heat sleeves are a great way to protect and organize your wiring as well as tidy up the engine bay. Feeding wires into those looms and sleeves is not so great—unless you use one of our Wire Sleeve Installation Tools. The wire bundle fits in an open channel in the tool, and a separate end fits into the end of the sleeve. As you pull the sleeve, the tool neatly inserts the wire bundle and closes the sleeve around it.

The Summit Racing Wire Sleeve Installation Tool is available for 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, and one inch diameter sleeve sizes. You can get just the size you need or get a whole set.

Quick Release Fastener Adjustment Tool

Racers will love this one. Adjusting quarter-turn fasteners to the proper tension can be dicey. Blame the springs for that–if you’re not careful, it’s easy to kink or break one. This Summit Racing Quick-Release Fastener Adjustment Tool makes the job easy. Just turn the knob to smoothly pull or push the spring to set the proper tension. No muss, no fuss.
