Saint-Eustache (August 16, 2018) – Kevin Lacroix and the Bumper to Bumper team is getting ready to head to the Antigonish’s Riverside International Speedway this Saturday for the 9th race in the NASCAR Pinty’s series.
This event is particularly important for the Québec’ team as it is the second meeting presented by Bumper to Bumper. At Vallée-Jonction a first time, and then in Antigonish this weekend, Kevin’s primary partners are involved at the very heart of the Canadian NASCAR series. The start of this 300-lap race will be at 8 p.m. Atlantic Time, and there is going to be a mandatory pit-stop at the halfway mark.
Last year, the race was delayed because of the rain, and this year again it seems that the temperature is not cooperating. Nonetheless, Kevin Lacroix will attempt to score a second victory on an oval track, as he won for the first time at Jukasa at the beginning of the season.
Kevin had an excellent performance last year during the Bumper to Bumper 300. The #74 Bumper to Bumper/ Total, Gates/ Go Fast/ PFC Brakes car was flying towards a first oval victory, but two corners before the end of the race, he got bumped to the second place.
“This year I intend to win the race and nothing else,” reveals Kevin Lacroix. “It will be an honor for me to receive the winner’s trophy from the Bumper to Bumper bosses. There’s going to be a lot of company guests for the race, so once again the bleachers are going to be full of red jerseys representing the team.”
All NASCAR Pinty’s fans are invited to a pre-race tailgate this Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m at the Bumper to Bumper Antigonish store located at 73 St-Andrews St. Saturday at the track, ticket holders are invited to the hospitality tent from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. to get their free Bumper to Bumper cap and shirt.
Kevin wants to thank his sponsors Bumper to Bumper, Total, Go Fast, PFC Brakes and Gates Corporation, a partnership between growing companies that represent excellence, ambition and victory.
