GLENDORA, Calif. (January 9, 2019) – NHRA officials announced today that Magic Dry Organic Absorbent will be the title sponsor of the second race of the Mello Yello Drag Racing Series. The 35th annual Magic Dry Organic Absorbent NHRA Arizona Nationals will take place Feb. 22-24 at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park in Phoenix.

Based in Tulsa, Okla., Midwest Organics is the parent company of Magic Dry Organic Absorbent and CatSpot Organic Cat Litter, which was the title sponsor of the 32nd annual CatSpot Organic Cat Litter NHRA Northwest Nationals in Seattle last season.

“This is a very exciting time for our Magic Dry family,” Midwest Organics owner Tommy Thompson said. “We’re thrilled to see our name on this wonderful NHRA event at a facility where I’ve personally raced my drag boat several times in the past. It’s very important for us to get the word out about our absorbent to the loyal and supportive NHRA fan base. This sponsorship will take us to a new level of recognition.”

“We are so pleased that Midwest Organics is presenting Magic Dry Organic Absorbent to the drag racing community through this title sponsorship,” said NHRA vice president and chief development officer Brad Gerber. “Our fans love CatSpot Organic Cat Litter and we are excited to see them embrace Magic Dry.”

Midwest Organics has been an active and valued partner of NHRA for several seasons and the title sponsorship for Magic Dry Organic Absorbent is an exciting new opportunity to connect with NHRA fans. The product was specially formulated to absorb all kinds of liquid spills with the same efficient and environmentally-friendly results that customers have come to expect from CatSpot Organic Cat Litter.

“Between Scott Palmer’s Top Fuel dragster, Rickey House’s Top Fuel Harley, Shane Conway’s Top Alcohol Dragster and our support of the Seattle race, we really made some great progress with our CatSpot Organic Cat Litter last year,” Thompson said. “Now we’re adding a big emphasis to Magic Dry Organic Absorbent, including placement on Scott’s dragster and Rickey’s bike, to let people know about this great product. Everyone who tries Magic Dry immediately realizes it’s the best absorbent they’ve ever used. We certainly believe NHRA fans, and even the racers themselves, will see the benefits.”
