GLENDORA, Calif. (November 13, 2021) – The National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) announced today that Cornwell Quality Tools has been named the Official Professional Tools of the NHRA beginning with the 2022 NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series season.
Already a partner with John Force Racing, Cornwell Tools will now begin a partnership with the NHRA next year as it continues to build brand awareness in the sport.“We are thrilled to begin this partnership as the Official Professional Tools of the NHRA, beginning in 2022, which will be our 103rd year in business,” said Bob Studenic, President and CEO of Cornwell Quality Tools. “As a partner of the 21-time NHRA world champion John Force Racing team since 2019, we have seen the excitement that NHRA championship drag racing brings to their fan base. We have witnessed that same excitement within the Cornwell Tools organization, making the ‘Official Professional Tools’ partnership a perfect pairing.”
Founded in 1919, Cornwell Tools is an employee and family-owned business, and it is the oldest mobile tool manufacturer and distributor in the country. An industry leader, Cornwell Tools use high-grade alloy steel, combined with modern heat-treating methods to produce high-quality tools.
The company has 800 franchisees and through those relationships, Cornwell Tools has discovered a strong connection to drag racing and the NHRA, making the partnership a natural fit to connect with fans and race teams.“Many NHRA race fans are professional mechanics and customers of our independent franchise dealers,” Studenic said. “It is important for us to support and engage the racers and fans. We share their excitement and passion for NHRA drag racing, and the on-track product and personalities of the sport are incredibly dynamic. We’re incredibly excited to begin the 2022 season and look forward to growing our partnership with the NHRA.”
“We are really looking forward to this new partnership with Cornwell Tools,” said Brad Gerber, NHRA vice president and chief development officer. “We’re thrilled to welcome them as the ‘Official Professional Tools of NHRA’ and we know their high-quality products are a perfect fit for many of our NHRA fans.”
